Tabuk Cement Co. said its board approved on Feb. 1 the resignation of CEO Ali Al Qahtani for personal reasons, effective Feb. 2, according to a statement to Tadawul.
 

The board also appointed Abdulqader Shoikan as CEO, effective Feb. 2, the statement added.

 

Shoikan has more than 20 years of experience in the heavy industries and cement sector, during which he advanced from production engineering roles to senior leadership positions. He has served as plant manager at Tabuk Cement since 2018.
 
He has overseen plant operations with capacities of up to 5,000 tons per day and managed teams of more than 280 employees. Shoikan‏ also has extensive experience in operational excellence, cost optimization, governance, and safety, as well as in managing expansion, installation, and commissioning projects, while aligning performance with sustainability and regulatory compliance.
