Al Jouf Cement CEO steps down, Bakr Sindi takes helm

Al Jouf Cement Co.’s board of directors accepted today, Feb. 3, the resignation submitted by CEO Samir Al-Rahili, effective immediately.

 

In a statement to Tadawul, the company said the CEO’s resignation came upon his request.

 

Accordingly, the board appointed board member and Managing Director Bakr Sindi as CEO, effective as of Feb. 4. He will retain his current duties.

 

According to the statement, Sindi has professional experience spanning over 25 years across organizational transformation, governance, supply chains, and strategic planning.

 

He holds a Bachelor's degree in mining engineering from King Abdulaziz University and has held leadership positions in several industrial and financial institutions. This is in addition to his previous membership on multiple boards of directors.
