Zoujaj accepts GM Walid Afyouni’s resignation, names Samir Al-Ruhaili as CEO

Zoujaj accepted the resignation of Walid Afyouni from his position as a general manager and appointed Samir Al-Ruhaili as CEO, effective Feb. 3.

Zoujaj accepted the resignation of Walid Afyouni from his position as a general manager and appointed Samir Al-Ruhaili as CEO, effective Feb. 3.

The board of the National Company for Glass Industries’ (Zoujaj) approved the resignation of General Manager (GM) Walid Afyouni for personal reasons, effective Feb. 3, according to a statement to Tadawul.

 

The board also appointed Samir Al-Ruhaili as CEO, effective the same day, the statement added.

 

Al-Ruhaili holds a degree in industrial engineering from King Saud University and has experience in executive leadership. He has previously held senior roles in manufacturing, recycling, and management consulting.

 

According to Argaam data, Zoujaj appointed Afyouni as GM in July 2023.
