During the signing ceremony
Saudi Arabia and Kuwait signed two agreements aimed at strengthening cooperation between the two countries in the energy sector, the Saudi Ministry of Energy said.
In a statement posted on X, the ministry stated that the first agreement relates to power conversion and water purchase for the Al-Zour North power plant project (phases II and III), between an ACWA Power-led consortium and Kuwait’s Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy (MEWRE).
It added that the second agreement concerns joint Khafji operations between Aramco Gulf Operations Co. and Kuwait Gulf Oil Co. (KGOC).
