flynas says to own 49% of Syrian unit

flynas said it will own a 49% stake in the newly established flynas Syria, whose incorporation agreement was signed today, Feb. 7, in Damascus. The remaining 51% will be held by Syrian Civil Aviation Authority.

 

flynas said the new carrier will operate under a low-cost airline model in line with global standards.

 

The airline is expected to begin operations in the fourth quarter of 2026, Flynas said.

 

flynas Syria will operate flights to several destinations across the Middle East, Africa and Europe, strengthening Syria’s regional and international air connectivity.
