Saudi Chemical says MoU to explore collaboration opportunities in development and manufacturing of advanced materials used in munitions

Saudi Chemical Co. Holding, through its subsidiary Saudi Chemical Co. Ltd. (SCCL), signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Turkey’s Mechanical and Chemical Industry Corporation (MKE), as part of efforts to strengthen cooperation in the defense industries sector.

In a statement to Tadawul, the company said the MoU aims to explore opportunities for joint collaboration in the development and manufacturing of advanced materials used in munitions, contributing to innovation and the exchange of expertise between both parties.

The MoU was signed on Feb. 9, on the sidelines of the World Defense Show 2026, with a term of six months that could be renewed. There is no financial impact at present, the statement added.
