Oil prices fluctuated during trading today, Feb. 10, after rising by more than 1% in the previous session. Investors assessed the US Department of Transportation's guidance for US-flagged commercial vessels to stay away from Iranian territorial waters.

 

Brent crude was trading at $69.07 a barrel, at 09:28 am Makkah time. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) fell 0.1% to $64.29 a barrel.

 

The US crude oil inventory report from the American Petroleum Institute is expected early on Feb. 11, ahead of the official data from the US Energy Information Administration in the evening.
