CMA approves public offering of Namaa Waqf Fund

16/02/2026 Argaam

The Capital Market Authority (CMA) approved SNB Capital’s request to IPO the units of the Namaa Waqf Fund.

In a statement, the regulator warned that making an investment decision without carefully reading the fund’s terms and conditions (T&Cs) or fully reviewing its contents may involve high risks. It urged investors to read the T&Cs thoroughly, as they contain detailed information about the fund, its investment strategy, and associated risk factors, to help assess the feasibility of investing.

Investors who find the T&Cs difficult to understand should contact the fund manager for clarification, the CMA added.

The authority stressed that its approval does not constitute a recommendation to subscribe but confirms that the fund meets legal requirements under the Capital Market Law and its implementing regulations.
