Oil prices fluctuated during trading today, Feb.17, as markets monitored the prospects for talks between the US and Iran. Several markets are closed today for the Lunar New Year holiday, including China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea and Singapore.

Brent crude was trading down 0.65% at $68.19 a barrel, at 09:31 am Makkah time. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) rose 0.75% to $63.35 a barrel.

The US crude oil inventory report from the American Petroleum Institute is due early Feb. 19 morning, delayed from its usual date due to the holiday for "Presidents' Day" in the US.
