Lana says financial impact of the agreement will depend on the size and scope of the work
Lana Medical Co. signed a strategic partnership agreement with a company specializing in dialysis services, led by a number of Saudi consultants, to establish and operate specialized dialysis centers across Saudi Arabia.
According to a statement to Tadawul, the company said that this agreement follows the announcement of the results of the dialysis services tender through National Unified Procurement Co. (NUPCO), under which Lana was approved among a group of companies awarded contracts to provide dialysis services at specialized clinics within hospitals and centers, in addition to home care services.
The company added that the agreement aims to support its operational readiness to execute related works in line with approved medical standards, using advanced equipment and technologies, and under the supervision of qualified medical staff.
It noted that plans are in place to begin establishing and equipping the first center in Riyadh, with phased expansion across several regions of Saudi Arabia in line with approved operational plans.
Lana said the financial impact of the agreement will depend on the size and scope of works to be executed under the related contracts and projects, adding that any material financial impact will be disclosed in due course in accordance with applicable regulations and instructions.
The company pointed out that this step comes as part of its strategy to expand in specialized healthcare services and strengthen its presence in the healthcare sector in the Kingdom.
