Almoosa signs SAR 608.9M contract for Al Hofuf Hospital’s finishing works

Almoosa Health Co. signed today, Feb. 26, a contract with AlMajal Alarabi Group to carry out electrical, mechanical, and comprehensive architectural finishing works for the Almoosa Specialist Hospital project in Al Hofuf.

 

The contract is valued at SAR 608.85 million, excluding VAT.

 

In a statement to Tadawul, the company said that work will commence immediately, with completion expected within 16 months.

 

The financial impact of the contract is anticipated to take effect once the building is completed and the hospital becomes operational.

 

The scope of the contract includes all electrical and mechanical works, as well as internal and external architectural finishes, following approved engineering designs and technical specifications, to ensure full operational readiness upon completion.

 

Almoosa confirmed that the project will be financed through its own resources and long-term Shariah-compliant bank facilities, noting that no related parties are involved in the contract.

 

According to data available with Argaam, Almoosa previously signed a contract on July 10, 2025, with MASAH Specialized Construction Co. to carry out preliminary construction works, foundations, and the concrete structural framework for the hospital, valued at SAR 192 million.

 

The project entails developing a fully integrated hospital in Al Hofuf, Al Ahsa, spanning 150,000 square meters, with a capacity of 300 beds, 200 clinics, and one pharmacy. The hospital is expected to commence operations in the second quarter of 2027.
