Bitcoin dropped 1.35% to $72,129
Cryptocurrencies fell in Thursday trading as markets faced selling pressure amid continued monitoring of tensions in the Middle East.
Bitcoin dropped 1.35% to $72,129 as of 11:33 a.m. Mecca time, after briefly rising above the $73,000 level earlier in the session.
Ethereum fell 3.15% to $2,099.84, while XRP declined 2.45% to $1.413. Dogecoin dropped 6.14% to $0.095.
Investors have poured more than $1.1 billion into US-listed Bitcoin exchange-traded funds since the start of March, including $462 million on Wednesday alone, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.
