Expat remittances in Saudi Arabia fall to SAR 13.3B in January

Remittances by expatriates in Saudi Arabia saw a 3% year-on-year (YoY) decline to around SAR 13.3 billion in January, recent data from the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) showed.

 

On a month-on-month (MoM) basis, remittances were down nearly 5%, or about SAR 691 million.
