Najran Cement’s board decided to confirm Eng. Ataa Bakkar as the company’s CEO

Najran Cement Co.’s board decided on March 5 to confirm Ataa Bakkar as the company’s CEO, effective April 1, according to a statement to Tadawul.
 

Bakkar brings more than 22 years of experience in the cement and building materials industries and has held several senior leadership roles.

 

He holds a master’s degree in business administration and a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering.

 

In September, the company’s board appointed Bakkar as Acting CEO for six months, starting Oct. 1, 2025.

In August, Najran Cement approved the request of Abdulsalam Aldraibi to terminate the contractual relationship as CEO by mutual consent, effective Sept. 30, 2025, due to personal reasons, according to data available on Argaam.
