Saudi Arabia intercepts, destroys 33 drones

Saudi Arabia intercepted and destroyed 33 drones, including eight after entering the Kingdom’s airspace and 23 over Riyadh, Ministry of Defense Spokesperson Turki Al-Maliki said.

 

One drone was also destroyed in Al Rub' al Khali (The Empty Quarter) while heading toward the Shaybah Oil Field.

 

Al-Maliki added that an attempted drone attack targeting the Diplomatic Quarter in Riyadh was thwarted, with no material damage or civilian injuries.
