Saudi Arabia intercepts missile, drones

The official spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense, Turki Al-Maliki, said two drones were intercepted and destroyed in the Empty Quarter while heading toward Shaybah oil field.

 

Two drones were also thwarted after they were shot down north of Riyadh.

 

In addition, a ballistic missile launched toward Prince Sultan Air Base was intercepted and destroyed.
