Saudi Energy says project involves removing 65 power towers and installing four underground lines

Saudi Energy Co.’s subsidiary, Saudi Electricity Projects Development Co. (PDC), is removing electricity transmission towers along Prince Mohammed bin Salman Road and replacing them with underground cables.

 

The company said on X that the project involves removing 65 power towers and installing four underground lines, each extending 30 km.

 

The project aims to support development of the Sports Boulevard, enhance the urban landscape along the road and improve the efficiency of electrical infrastructure.
