Citizen Account deposits SAR 3B for March payment

The Citizen Account Program deposited SAR 3 billion today, March 10, as the March support payment for beneficiaries whose applications have been approved.

The number of beneficiaries meeting the eligibility criteria in the 100th payment cycle exceeded 9.7 million beneficiaries and dependents.

The program's Director General of Communications Abdullah Al-Hajri said the total amount paid to beneficiaries since the program’s launch has exceeded SAR 271 billion, including SAR 2.8 billion in compensation for previous payments, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

Al-Hajri added that 72% of beneficiaries received support in this payment cycle, while the average support per household reached SAR 1,470.

He also noted that the number of heads of households benefiting from the program exceeded two million, representing 86% of total beneficiaries, while the number of dependents surpassed 7.4 million.
