Umm Al-Qura Cement Co. (UACC) estimates the direct financial impact of the fuel price adjustment to lift up production costs by approximately 10.2%.

This impact is expected to appear starting from the results of Q1 2026.

In a statement to Tadawul today, March 12, the company said it is currently implementing plans to reduce costs and improve production and operational efficiency to mitigate this impact.

UACC also noted that it joined the Industrial Sector Competitiveness Program in 2024, which helps reduce the financial impact and improve energy consumption efficiency.

According to data available with Argaam, UACC had previously received a notice from Saudi Aramco regarding the adjustment of fuel product prices used in cement production, effective Jan. 1, 2026.
