NGDC board approves reassessment of assets’ useful life

Natural Gas Distribution Co.’s (NGDC) board of directors approved the reassessment of the useful life of its natural gas network pipeline assets, based on the findings of an internal technical study.

 

In a statement to Tadawul today, March 16, the company said the decision is expected to have a positive impact on the 2026 financial results regarding the full-year depreciation expenses of fixed assets as a result of that reassessment.

 

This accounting adjustment will not affect the company’s cash flows, the statement added.
