TASI performance between 2025–2026 Eid Al-Fitr holidays

Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) ended the period between Eid Al-Fitr holidays of 2025 and 2026 with a decline of 9%, or 1,079 points.

 

The index closed at 10,946 points on March 16, 2026 (the last session before the holiday), compared to 12,025 points during the same period last year.

 

This period witnessed several key developments, including interest rate cuts, a global trade war following US tariff impositions on several countries, the opening of the main market to all categories of non-resident foreign investors allowing direct investment, the outbreak of the US–Israel war on Iran, and volatility in oil prices.

Other notable decliners included Raydan Food Co., Saudi Fisheries Co., Jahez International Company for Information System Technology, and Gulf General Cooperative Insurance Co., with losses ranging between 60% and 61%.

(Maaden) led the gains with a 50% surge, followed by SABIC Agri-Nutrients Co. (SABIC AN) at 28%, National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia (Bahri) at 25%, and Saudi National Bank (SNB) at 12%.
