A commercial court in Riyadh issued the final ruling in a SAR 6.48 million compensation case against Rawasi Albina Investment Co., the firm said in a statement to Tadawul.

The Eighth Appeals Circuit of the Commercial Court in Riyadh upheld the initial judgment that dismissed the lawsuit filed by Saleh Al-Marzouqi, confirming that his claim was unfounded.

Rawasi Albina said that the ruling has no financial impact on the company, as the claim was dismissed and the plaintiff’s financial entitlement was not proven.

The company added that it was represented by Sultan Omar Sultan Al-Haidal Law Firm.

The firm will disclose any future related developments, it said.

According to data available with Argaam, Rawasi Albina announced in October the dismissal of the lawsuit filed by Saleh Al-Marzouqi before the 12th Circuit of the Commercial Court in Riyadh, seeking SAR 6.48 million in compensation.

The company noted that the lawsuit was not based on sufficient or accurate data.
