Saudi Arabia's exports of chemical industry and related products were down by 3% year-on-year (YoY) to nearly SAR 6.25 billion in January 2026.
Compared to December 2025, the chemicals exports decreased by SAR 412.1 million, or 6%, according to data from the General Authority for Statistics.
Chemicals and related products made up 19% of the Kingdom’s non-oil exports, which totaled SAR 32.6 billion in January.
India was the largest importer of Saudi chemicals, receiving nearly SAR 765.5 billion worth, or 12% of total chemical exports. It was followed by China with 11%.

Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia’s imports of chemical industry and related products reached SAR 6.4 billion in January, up 2% YoY.
Imports of chemical and industry-related products during January accounted for 8% of the total imports amounting to SAR 81.4 billion.
