Trump issued fresh threats targeting Iran’s infrastructure
US President Donald Trump issued fresh threats targeting Iran’s infrastructure as part of efforts to pressure Tehran in negotiations, a day after pledging to press on with the war.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump said the “US military hasn’t even started destroying what’s left in Iran. Bridges next, then electric power plants! New regime leadership knows what has to be done, and has to be done, FAST!”
In a separate comment, Trump said “The biggest bridge in Iran comes tumbling down, never to be used again — Much more to follow! IT IS TIME FOR IRAN TO MAKE A DEAL BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE”.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi responded on social media, saying targeting civilian infrastructure would not force Iranians to surrender.
