OPEC+ members prepare to meet virtually to discuss planned output increases.

Key OPEC+ members led by Saudi Arabia and Russia reached a preliminary agreement to increase oil production by around 206,000 barrels per day, Bloomberg reported.

The OPEC+ meeting will be held today, April 5, via videoconference.

In March, OPEC+ decided to gradually unwind voluntary cuts and raise production by 206,000 barrels per day starting April 2026, Argaam earlier reported.

The decision came one day after the outbreak of war in Iran.
