The Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC) launched a tender for the naming rights of five main stations within the Riyadh Metro project, including Al-Murooj, Al-Nuzha, King Fahd District 1, Al-Rabee, and Jareer District.
In a statement, the authority said the first group of the offering will begin with these five stations under long-term contracts lasting 10 years. It invited both local and international private sector investors to participate, in line with strict standards consistent with major global public transport projects.
RCRC added that bids will be received via the Forsah platform from April 8 to May 10, 2026, after which applications will be reviewed, winning companies announced, and contracts awarded.
The authority noted that the station naming rights program offers private sector companies, including financial institutions and brands, a unique opportunity to enhance visibility and strengthen marketing identity within one of the region’s largest public transport projects. It also includes advertising benefits such as signage, elevator and escalator platforms, and ticket gates in high-density areas with strong commercial activity and high ridership levels.
The step builds on a previous phase in which naming rights for seven stations were awarded to major economic entities under defined regulations. It aims to generate attractive financial returns that are reinvested to support the project’s sustainability, improve operations, reduce costs, and provide modern services in partnership with the private sector. This contributes to improving quality of life, developing the city’s economic infrastructure, enhancing competitiveness, and improving the investment environment in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
