Sustained Infrastructure Holding Co. (SISCO Holding) approved the appointment of Mauricio Zuazua as Chief Executive Officer, effective today, April 19.

 

The decision was based on the board of directors' April 16 decision, following the nomination and remuneration committee's recommendation.

 

In a statement to Tadawul, the company said that Zuazua has over 25 years of global executive leadership experience across the infrastructure, transportation, logistics, and industrial sectors in the Middle East, Africa, the Americas, and Asia.

 

He has held several senior leadership roles, most recently serving as regional chair for the Middle East and Africa at the global consultancy Kearney.

 

Remove The company added that he possesses extensive experience in developing and scaling transportation and logistics platforms, including ports, multimodal logistics services, and industrial zones.

 

He has also led key initiatives and contributed to national transformation programs.

 

Zuazua also has strong expertise in corporate governance and board work, along with significant experience serving on boards and leading transformation initiatives.

 

Zuazua holds a Master of Business Administration from Columbia Business School and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Tec de Monterrey.

 

According to data available with Argaam, SISCO Holding’s board of directors accepted Khalid Suleimani’s resignation as CEO on July 4, 2025.

 

Saleh Hefni was appointed as Managing Director (executive board member) from July 1, 2025.
