Tasnee announces restart of PDH unit after 6 weeks of shutdown

The National Industrialization co. (Tasnee) announced today on Tadawul resuming operations of the propylene production unit (PDH), A Saudi Polyolefin co. subsidiary.

 

 

 

The PDH unit encountered several breakdowns leading to an unexpected six weeks shut down for maintenance, causing an  immaterial loss of SAR 75m compared to the company's annual profits. This loss will be reflected on Q3, 2013 financial statements.
