Petrochem: Outage at Saudi Polymers plant will result in SAR 30m loss

The National Petrochemical Company announced a temporary outage at the Saudi Polymers Plant on Wednesday March 12, 2014. The outage is expected to result in SAR 30m loss to be realized on Q1 of 2014 financials, the company said in a filling to Tawadul.

The plant operations halted due to disruptions of the feedstock equipment. The feedstock was re-supplied at the same day; the company added.

The operations management is working to restart the plant units gradually, and expecting to reach its full capacity within 10 days.
