ASTRA INDUSTRIAL GROUP ANNOUNCES UPDATE ON TANMIYA FACTORY

Reference to the Astra Industrial Group announcement dated 10/07/2012 regarding developments on Tanmiya factory in which it has 51% share, the Board of Directors of Astra Industrial Group in their meeting dated 17/10/2012 reviewed and discussed the progress report of the factory. The report showed a break down occurrence at the power plant during initial operation and exchange of electricity with the public network, which is expected to lead to the postponement of the start of the trial run of the factory to the first quarter of 2013. The company will announce any developments in due course.
