Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC), the Middle East’s largest petrochemicals and fertilizers producer, was the 32nd in the “Transparency in Corporate Reporting” report issued by International Transparency Organization.
SABIC was the only Arabian Company that was evaluated in the report which included 124 international companies.
The report assesses the disclosure practices of companies with respect to their anti-corruption programs, company holdings and the disclosure of key financial information on a country-by-country basis.
SABIC captured an average 4.6% in the international transparency report after obtaining 88% in Anti-Corruption program (High rate), 50% in Organizational Transparency (Medium rate)
and 1% in Country By Country Reporting (Low rate).
