SABB Takaful gets approval for insurance products

SABB Takaful said today it secured a temporary approval from the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA) of new insurance products. The approval is valid for six months starting March 20, 2014, the company said. The products are:

  1. Takaful cover for groups’ personal accident.
  2. Cover for transmission.
  3. Cover for purchases.
  4. Takaful for small and medium enterprises.
  5. Cover for travel risks.
  6. Public liability takaful.
  7. Business interruption.
  8. Money takaful cover.
  9. Fidelity guarantee takaful.
