Mobily completes procedures for ‘Big Data’ project: Report

Etihad Etisalat Mobily said on Thursday that it has completed the necessary procedures for its Big Data project, which follows the latest communication technologies in the world.

The new project comes inline the company's strategic plans for the development of systems and infrastructures of Big Data, the company in a report published by Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper.

Nawaf Al-Mutairi, general executive manager of the project, said the company is constantly working to develop and update its data infrastructures. 

He said that Mobily cooperates with major international companies to achieve strategic objectives adopted in the short and medium term.

Al-Mutairi added that Big Data systems will contribute to boosting the network’s services, which can be tailored to fit the needs of each individual subscriber.
