SABIC showcases fuel-efficient plastic car chassis​ at SSIF​

Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC), one of the world's largest petrochemical manufacturers, is currently showcasing fuel-efficient plastic chassis in Saudi Arabia’s Science and Innovation Festival (SSIF).

“Assembled from metal, aluminum and plastic, this sports innovative chassis shows off SABIC’s plastics innovations in the manufacturing industries field,” chief executive Mohamed Al-Mady was quoted as saying by Saudi’s news agency.

SABIC is introducing an array of innovative solutions ​to​ help automotive ​manufacturers achieve compliance requirements for ​both ​safety and quality.


The company is also enabling performance gains through light-weighting, which in the automotive and aerospace industries can lead to substantial fuel efficiency.
