Saudi Arabia shuts down road leading to Al Jouf Cement Co.

Saudi Arabia’s transport ministry officially shut down a main road leading to Al Jouf Cement Co. on Thursday after the company failed to construct an international road intersection as scheduled.

Last June, the road authority in the kingdom’s northern border region had warned the company that it would close Turaif Al Qurayyat road, which is 30 kilometers away from Turaif, according to data available on Argaam.
