Petro Rabigh restarts VDU; financial impact seen at SAR 100 mln

Rabigh Refining and Petrochemical Company (Petro Rabigh) said it has restarted its Vacuum Distillation Unit (VDU) following unscheduled maintenance.

 

Financial impact will be around SAR 100 million, and will be appear in second quarter results, the company added in a statement to Tadawul.

 

Petro Rabigh had started the unplanned repairs on April 25, and was planning to restart the unit on May 10. It later extended maintenance by six days due to a leakage at the cooling unit.
