Kingdom Holding reappoints Prince Alwaleed as chairman

Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal has been reappointed as board chairman of Kingdom Holding Co. (KHC) in the opening meeting of the new three-year term.

 

The board also formed three new committees for investment, audit, as well as nomination and remuneration.

 

Prince Alwaleed will head the investment committee, which is responsible for making major investment decisions on behalf of the board.

 

High-profile Saudi billionaire Prince Alwaleed owns a swath of stakes in private and public companies in the United States, Europe, and the Middle East, mostly through KHC.

 

He was identified as the richest person in the Arab world, with a net worth of $22.9 billion. He is currently ranked as the world’s 34th richest person on the Forbes List 2015.
