Mobily appoints former STC CEO as board member

Etihad Etisalat Co. (Mobily) has appointed Khaled Abdulazizi Al-Ghoneim as an independent board member, replacing Abdulaziz Saleh Al Saghyir, who resigned earlier last month, the company said in a statement to Tadawul.

 

The appointment will be presented to the company’s general assembly meeting for approval.

 

Al-Ghoneim previously served as the chief executive officer of Saudi Telecom Company (STC) in June 2012, before resigning in March 2013 for personal reasons.
