Saudi Electricity’s new tariffs effective from today

Saudi Electricity Co. (SEC) will start billing its clients according to the new tariff from today, Jan. 11.

 

The company said that consumption until Jan. 10 will be billed according to the old price.

 

Last month, the Saudi government decided to raise the prices of energy, fuel and utilities to reduce its budget gap and increase non-oil revenues.

 

Electricity prices for residential, governmental, commercial, agricultural and industrial use were adjusted in accordance with consumption levels.
