Saudi Arabia and South Korea on Sunday signed agreements to cooperate on transportation, investments, and crime-fighting, the state-owned Saudi Press Agency reported.
The signing took place in Jeddah in the presence of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and the South Korean prime minister, Hwang Kyo-ahn.
Meanwhile, the Saudi foreign affairs minister Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir and South Korean deputy foreign minister Lim Sung Nam also signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for political cooperation between the two countries.
Saudi Arabia and South Korea are also looking to work together in fields such as renewable energy and medical services, according to local media reports.
