Dubai-based DXB Entertainments has delayed the opening of three of its theme parks and a hotel at its entertainment and hospitality destination in Jebel Ali.

Bollywood Parks, Legoland Water Park and Lapita hotel will now open on November 15; and Motiongate will open on December 16, the firm said in a statement.

Legoland and Riverland will open on October 31, in line with the earlier schedule.

DFM-listed DXB Entertainments was earlier known as Dubai Parks and Resorts PJSC.

“We want to make sure we take the time to get everything just right and launch a destination the UAE and our shareholders can be truly proud of,” Raed Kajoor Al Nuaimi, CEO of DXB Entertainments, said in the statement.

The firm’s stock plunged 3.2 percent on Monday, the first day of trading since the revised dates were announced.
