UAE grants visa on arrival for Indian nationals with UK, EU residency

The United Arab Emirates has approved visa on arrival for Indian passport holders with UK and EU residency visas, Dubai ruler Sheikh Mohammed said in a tweet on Wednesday.

 

This was soon followed by another tweet announcing the approval of VAT and excise tax regulations.

 

Indian passport holders with a valid American visa were granted UAE visa on arrival at all ports as of May 1 this year.

 

The move comes after an India-UAE Partnership Summit was announced this month to encourage Emiratis to invest in medium-sized projects in India.
