King Salman says Riyadh will work with Russia to stabilize oil market

Saudi Arabia will continue working with Russia to stabilize global oil markets, Reuters reported, citing Saudi King Salman during his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday.

 

Salman added that he was convinced that there were opportunities to diversify economic cooperation with Russia.

 

“We aim to strengthen our relations in the interests of peace and security, in the interests of developing the world economy,” the Saudi monarch said.

 

King Salman is in Russia as part of a state visit, the first to Moscow by a reigning Saudi monarch.
