Trump asks Saudi Arabia to list Aramco in US

04/11/2017 Argaam

United States President Donald Trump on Saturday asked Saudi Arabia to list Saudi Aramco on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE).

The state-run oil giant, which is the world’s largest oil company, is scheduled to offer five percent of its shares in 2018 in a listing that could raise $100 billion.

While Saudi Aramco will be listed partially on Tadawul, it is also expected to do a dual-listing with another stock market internationally.

Aramco has still not chosen an international bourse for the IPO although New York and London are seen as leading contenders
