China-based EHang Inc. is aiming to reach an agreement with Saudi Arabia to roll out its E-184 taxi drone across the Kingdom going forward, the company’s chief executive, Hu Huazhi, said.

The E-184 drone, which is powered by four propellers, was showcased by the start-up during the American Express World Luxury Expo, held in Riyadh in May 2017.

The taxi drone has a cruising speed of up to 100 kilometers per hour and a flight time of up to 25 minutes.

Dubai’s government is planning to launch the flying taxi service in the emirate within five years, after making the first test flight last September, Argaam earlier reported.
