Abu Dhabi’s largest housing project to be named ‘Riyadh City’

Abu Dhabi’s largest housing development project will be named Riyadh City, in recognition of the close relations between Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan said on Monday.

 

“Proud to name the largest housing project in Abu Dhabi as Riyadh City. Saudi Arabia-UAE longstanding ties are based on brotherhood, cooperation and common destiny”, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed said on his official Twitter account.

 

Modon Properties will develop the housing project, which will be located about 30 kilometers from the city center.

 

The project will span 8,000 hectares and house 200,000 people.
