Tawuniya shareholders name Abdulaziz Alnowaiser as audit committee member

The Company for Cooperative Insurance’s (Tawuniya) ordinary general assembly on Dec. 28 approved appointing board member Abdulaziz Abdullah Al Nowaiser as the fourth member of the audit committee, effective immediately, the insurer said in a statement to Tadawul.

 

Shareholders also approved insurance contracts with the National Medical Care Co. (Care) for a total value of SAR 16.65 million, effective for one year starting Jan. 1, 2018. Tawuniya board member Raed Al Tamimi is a related party.

 

The total value of contracts between both companies until September 2017 reached SAR 47.83 million.
