Tawuniya inks deal to provide health insurance for NCB staff

The Company for Cooperative Insurance (Tawuniya) has been approved to provide healthcare insurance coverage for employees of the National Commercial Bank (NCB) for one year from Jan. 1, 2018, the insurer said in a bourse statement.

  

Tawuniya was chosen for the SAR 143.32 million contract through bidding without preferential conditions, the statement added.

  

The deal is a related party transaction as NCB board member Abdulaziz Al-Zaid is also a board member at the insurance company.
