Saudi Royal air defense forces intercepted a ballistic missile launched from Yemen towards the southern border province of Jazan, a statement published by Saudi Press Agency said on Sunday.
A Pakistani man was injured lightly after being hit by falling debris from the missile, the statement added.
Colonel Turki Al-Maliki, the spokesman of the Arab coalition forces, said the missile was deliberately launched to target civilian and populated areas which breaches the International humanitarian law.
