Saudi Arabia rejects 'threats and attempts' that undermine the Kingdom: official

Saudi Arabia has announced its “total rejection of any threats and attempts to undermine it,” either through economic sanctions, use of political pressure, or false accusations, according to a statement by the Kingdom’s information ministry. 

“The Kingdom as the government and people are steadfast, glorious as ever, no matter whatever the pressures and circumstances might be,” the statement said, citing an official source.

Saudi Arabia will also respond with greater action if faced with any threats, the source said, noting that the Kingdom has an "influential and vital role in the global economy."
